Senior HR Business Partner - Saudi & Qatar

Job Description

Managing, planning, and directing Human Resources functions and Personnel activities including recruitment, training and development of employees, employee relations administration and ensuring the proper communication and implementation of the company's policies and procedures

Recruitment & Selection

Manage the recruitment and selection process of internal and external, permanent and contract based positions in line with corporate guidelines to ensure that qualified candidates are selected

Support the departments managers with the interviewing process to assess candidates eligibility

Review all applying candidates to ensure their eligibility for work in the UAE based on the set laws and regulations

Ensure the receiving of all related documents prior to employee recruitment such as Approval, Job description, legal documents and requisition

Employee Relations

Apply HR policies and procedures with fairness and integrity to maintain good working relations throughout the plant

Plan and conduct new employee orientation program

Manage staff medical and accident insurance programs in coordination with the corporate HR

Manage all labour relations and government reporting activities

Identify and implement positive employee relations programmes that will lead to a more efficient and motivated workforce

Payroll & Database

Lead the payroll closure procedure to ensure payment is done within time frame and company policy and procedure

Responsible for processing the online payment related to employee’s benefits such as payroll, bonus and housing allowance while maintaining high levels of confidentiality

Review the timesheets for accurate attendance and overtime verification

Maintain the HR database and ensure its compliance to legal and audit standards

Performance Management

Manage performance review process to ensure employees’ are evaluated based on their merits and achievements

Promote a culture of fairness and equity among all departments by exercising good people management practices in regard to performance and career development

Policies & Procedures

Review & update the local policies and procedures in coordination with the GM and recommend changed to Corporate HR in alignment with local laws and regulations

Administer policies and procedures within the plant through continuous communication

Follow up using correct channels such as memos, notices and presentations, when required

Training & Development

Assist in conducting and organizing training sessions

Coordinate with line managers for training needs identification

Maintain training records for all staff to monitor development and program effectiveness

Policies and Procedures / HSE

Comply with operational procedures and instructions when performing all job tasks and activities

Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions

Keep workstations and areas clean at all times

Skills Description

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in HR management or business

Preferred Experience:

5 to 7 years of HR experience with exposure to a manufacturing environment

Job-Specific Skills:

Knowledge of local labour laws and regulation and employment contracts

Up-to-date with all aspects of employment law and HR best practices
