Production Engineer (HDPE)

Production Engineer (Open for Saudi Nationals Only)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision of department manager, monitoring and operating production lines and lead a team of captains, operators and workers.
• As an Engineer you will ensures extrusion lines are set up properly to specific job specifications.
• Ensures proper line speed is maintained 5S during the production run, and responsible for cleanliness of machine & production floor area.
• Responsible of Setting up equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
• Performing quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
• Following all safety guidelines.
• Training and assisting other employees as necessary.
• Following verbal and written instructions and maintains accurate records.
• Other duties as required or assigned by the line manager.

Position Technical Knowledge & Requirement:

• Hold Degree in Polymer or Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Have at least 5 years manufacturing experience in Plastics Manufacturing, preferably in HDPE PIPE extrusion.
• Have good knowledge of plastic materials, production & troubleshooting.
• Be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Good communication skills in written and verbal English
• Able to lead a team of Supervisors, Captains, operators and workers.
• Be able to read and interpret routine instructions.
• Have good communication skills, and team player.
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed
• Able to Operates forklift, Optional.
