JOB PURPOSE
Assist the Quality Manager in establishing processes and policies to ensure that various functions in the BU are delivering output without errors and within the stipulated time. He/she is also responsible for implementing these procedures within the business unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Quality Manager in effectively implementing the quality
management system related to Manual, Policies & Procedures in
coordination with the Quality Manager and all other departments to
realize continual improvements. - Identify the potential non-conformities and request preventive actions,
and suggest continuous process improvements. - Periodically check the effective implementation of the latest know-how
documents on all the processes. - Verifies the implementation of the new policies and procedures at the
point of use. - Assists Quality Manager in renewal of the company’s Accreditations and
Product Certifications as required to maintain their continuity. - Periodically review the validity of QMS-related international standards.
- When International standards are revised and new versions are released,
perform gap analysis in coordination with the Quality Manager and
department heads. - Prepare new procedures relevant to the business unit to comply with the
new requirements of the revised standards and coordinate with the Group
Quality team. - Co-ordinates with all the departments and obtains feedback on the
improvements required in the Quality Assurance Procedures, with a focus
on continual improvement. - Prepare the summary of changes required in the QMS and discuss it with
the Quality Manager and the Group Quality team. - Assist the Quality manager in revising the Quality procedures related to the
business unit based on the approval from the Management. - Assist the Quality Manager in carrying out internal audits as per the
approved internal audit plan, raise NCRs in case of non-compliance and
follow up on their closeouts. - Assist the Quality Manager in preparing the internal audit reports with the
findings and areas of improvement. - Assist Quality Manager in analyzing each major purchase order/contract
from a Quality Assurance point of view and identify the additional
requirements. - Participate in the product qualification tests such as HDB tests, Survival
tests, Burst tests, Strain Corrosion tests, Creep tests, etc. - Compiles all the product qualification test reports and updates the
Qualification Test Library.

- Quality management & auditing skills.
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 Management System.
- Good report writer.
- Fluency in English.
- Certified ISO 9001 Internal auditor.

Preferred Experience:
- Oil & Gas OCTG experience.
- Working experience in composite products, processes, and applications.

- 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of QA in a medium to large-sized manufacturing company.
Education
Engineering Discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Civil) or Science.
