JOB PURPOSE :
To design and develop high-performance components by creating detailed CAD models and conducting finite element analyses, ensuring cost-effective, manufacturable, and compliant solutions that meet functional and quality standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Tasks:
- Develop detailed component design submittals and component drawings withing agreed timeline while ensuring compliance with client requirements, project specification, international standards, and department guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments and functions (AE, PD, PID, costing, QC, and production teams) during all phases of the projects to optimize solutions, ensure technical excellence, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a database of current and past product selections with performance reviews.
- Refer to plant capability list during component selection phase.
- Foster a culture of collaboration within the component design team using real-time communication platform
LEAD-TO-ORDER PHASE:
- Review and understand all the latest International Standards applicable to Glass fiber composite products.
- Review and understand all the latest Key End User and Client Specifications applicable to Glass fiber composite products.
- Review all submitted project inquiry documents to understand the application requirements and design parameters
- Coordinate with the Application Engineers to arrange any missing design parameters or project documents from the Sales/Proposal departments.
- Issue detailed Component Design submittals
PROJECT EXECUTION PHASE :
- Perform a technical review of received Sales Orders and System Summary to ensure the proper product selection and execution.
- Issue the updated detailed Application Engineering submittals to reflect the latest Bill of Quantity and purchase order documents.
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
· Required Qualifications:
B.Sc. Engineering, Engineering Diploma, or a related field.
· Preferred Experience:
0 – 2 years as Fresh Graduate, Intern, Trainee Engineer
